Emery County Archives

Preserving the Past and making it Accessible to the Public for the Present and the Future.

The Emery County Archives is the San Rafael area's repository of special collections and archives, including a rare books library and extensive photo collection. We are an important repository for donations of family, organization, and agency documents and artifacts to be a major resource for research and documentation of the history, life, and culture of the people of the Castle Valley Region.
The Archives is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Phone: 435-381-3563
Suzanne Anderson is the Archives Director and the administrator of the Emery County Archives Blog. If you need research or would like to make a donation of historic items to the Archives at any other time, you can post your questions or comments on the blog page.
NEWS:  Exciting news! the Emery County Archives has been awarded grant funding to digitize Huntington-Cleveland Irrigation records. At this time, we will be digitizing the minutes and any information of historical significance regarding the critical turning  points in its history. We are partnering with J.W. Marriott Library to digitize the Huntington-Cleveland Irrigation records.  You can find the records of the Ferron/Molen Irrigation companies here at   https://collections.lib.utah.edu/search?facet_setname_s=uu_ec.r
